What is a Community College?
Community colleges are educational centers that provide opportunities for a wide variety of people. Regardless of age, race, financial situation, or academic background almost everyone is invited to learn at community colleges. Most community colleges have open admissions which means as long as you meet basic requirements (like having a high school diploma or GED) you will likely be admitted. They are typically located in your community or a city nearby and often have branches or centers within an hour of the main campus.
